Building upon the successful events in 2013 and in 2016, Hungary will again host the Budapest Water Summit in 2019. On the margin of the high-level conference, the Digital and Nature-based Sustainable Solutions Expo will be held again, aiming to display innovative water management technologies and solutions that can help tackle the challenges caused by the emerging water crises.
The Summit, under the motto ‘Preventing Water Crises’ aims to promote solutions that tackle the problems of the emerging water crises we have to face, building around the issues of abundant, scarce and polluted water. On the margin of the high-level conference, a Water Expo will be held aiming to display innovative water management technologies and solutions that can help tackle the challenges caused by the emerging water crises.
The Expo is intended to focus on sustainable, innovative, environment-friendly solutions in the field of drinking water production, water treatment and water supply.
The Expo will also provide an opportunity for networking through business to business partnering and by hosting a stage for the exhibitors where they can present and discuss their innovative and sustainable technologies.
In order to fully ensure the potential synergies with the other section of BWS 2019, the Expo will take place right next to the plenary sessions of the Summit, at Millenáris Park in Budapest.
The second and third day of the Expo (15-17 October) will be open to the public after completing on-site registration (this registration does not grant entrance to the plenary sessions of the BWS 2019).
The Expo is organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Hungary, in cooperation with HEPA Hungarian Export Development Agency Nonprofit Ltd.
