What can we do for our waters individually or when renovating a building?

Commissioned by the Hungarian Environment Ministry, in 2013 a campaign promoting water-consciousness was launched with the title: “Water: Our Past and Our Future”. As a part of the campaign, a short film entitled “Turn Off the Tap!” was produced presenting daily water use and the water footprint in order to bring attention to the importance of water-consciousness and to promote various methods for making savings.

The short film entitled “Grey Water, Green Building” presents the water-saving and other environment-friendly solutions applied during the renovation of the main building of Szeged University, a historic building with a decisive impact on the city’s urban landscape. The film also features experts from the Budapest Water Summits, András Szöllősy Nagy and Benedito Braga.
